1. Protection of professionals
The operators of two-component polyurethane high-pressure foaming injection machines must undergo professional training and be familiar with the equipment structure, chemical properties and emergency plans. Unlicensed operation is strictly prohibited.
Regular safety refresher training (recommended once a year) covers equipment operation, chemical hazards and the use of protective equipment.
Personal protective equipment -
Basic protection: chemical protective clothing (acid and alkali resistant materials), protective gloves, protective glasses (anti-fog type), safety shoes.
Respiratory protection -
When operating isocyanate (material A), a half-mask respirator or a full-face respirator must be worn to prevent inhalation of steam and aerosols. Positive pressure air respirators are required in high-concentration environments (such as confined spaces).
2. Equipment and raw material inspection
Before using the machine, check whether the power grounding and circuit are damaged, whether the oil pressure system has no leakage, and whether the safety valve/pressure gauge is calibrated and valid. Confirm that the mixing head is not blocked, the nozzle is clean, and the cooling water circulation is normal.
Raw material management: A material (isocyanate) and B material (polyol) containers are strictly separated. Before adding materials, they must be filtered through a 100-mesh filter to prevent impurities from clogging the pipeline.
Material temperature control: The temperature of A/B materials must be stable at 20-25℃, and they must be preheated to 22℃ in a low-temperature environment to avoid uneven foaming due to temperature difference.
3. Standard operation process
Startup and parameter setting--
After turning on the compressed air, check the pressure of the pressure reducing valve: control pressure 0.5-0.6MPa, solvent pressure 0.2-0.3MPa.
Flow and pressure debugging--
Use a special container to measure the flow rate of A/B materials (error ≤±0.5%) and adjust the pouring pressure according to the process.
It is strictly forbidden to adjust the flow knob during operation to prevent sudden pressure changes from causing splashing.
Injection operation points--
After the nozzle is inserted into the mold, start the A material pump first (red light on), and then start the B material pump (green light on) after delaying MT to ensure uniform mixing. Immediately flush the mixing head with high pressure after injection (self-cleaning function) to prevent residual solidification and blockage.
4. Emergency treatment and maintenance
Skin contact: Immediately clean the isocyanate with polyethylene glycol (PEG), then rinse with soapy water; polyol contact with clean water for 15 minutes.
Eye contact: Rinse with an eyewash for ≥15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Leakage treatment-
A material leakage: Cover with absorbent cotton, collect and dispose of as hazardous waste;
B material leakage: Dilute with water and discharge.
